DEGREE IN THREE

Degree in Three is a special program designed to assist students who wish to graduate in three years or less. While all students are welcome to explore this accelerated path, Degree in Three is typically best for students who enter Florida State with college credit earned through AP, IB, AICE, or dual enrollment.

Program Eligibility:

The baccalaureate degree must be completed in three years or less. Time to degree begins the first semester a student is enrolled as a degree seeking college student (any institution).

  •  Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the fall and spring terms. Students must have at least two additional semesters of enrollment at the time of application to be accepted to the program.

BEFORE PROCEEDING: Any test credit (AICE, AP, CLEP, IB) or credit from another institution must be posted to the FSU academic record. Follow these instructions to check your FSU record.

Applicants must attend an information session before applying to the program. Find the next Information Session here.

To submit an application:

1. Log into the application portal by clicking the “Log In” button on the top right of this page. Then select “FSUID” and use your FSU credentials to log into the system.

2. Click on the green “Apply” button on the left side of the screen

3. Complete the Student Information Form which requests information on your major, goals, and extra-curriculars.

4. Upload your advisor-approved Degree in Three Program of Study.   The academic plan should be completed in collaboration with your academic advisor in your major department.
